
ONDO NOA PARTNERS RELIGIOUS ORGANISATION TOWARDS PROMOTING WELFARE OF NIGERIAN CHILDREN
In a significant demonstration of support for child development initiatives as part of the tenet of Child Act Rights, a prominent Muslim cleric, Chief Imam of Nigeria Police Officer’s mess Mosque, Alagbaka Akure, Alhaji Taofeek Akintola has joined the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in its advocacy outreach efforts to celebrate and protect Nigerian children.
This efforts underscore the importance of inter-faith cooperation in promoting the well-being and development of children across the country.
This was established when the Management of the Ondo State NOA, under the leadership of the State Director Mr James Adekunle visited the Mosque on Friday 30th May 2025 during the Jumat Service to educate the worshippers of the 2025 National Children’s day celebration as a wrapped up activities conducted by the Agency to further reinforce the importance of the total well-being of every Nigeria child through quality educational provision and skillful attainment.
The director emphasized participation in the advocacy outreach with shared commitment to child welfare across different faith communities in Nigeria will enhance optimal child performance and development.
In his Response, the Chief Iman appreciated the outreach by the Agency and pledged total support.
He noted that Muslim societies across the State attach great importance to right upbringing of a child through adequate training according to the teachings of Islam.
Alhaji Taofeek Akintola assured the NOA boss of every support needed to raise a child through quality education and skills development will not be spared.
The collaboration between the Muslim cleric and NOA is expected to have a positive impact on child welfare in Nigeria.
By working together, a wider audience can be reached and promote a shared vision for the well-being and development of children.
