ONDO OFFICE OF GENDER MATTERS EXPRESSES READINESS TO PARTNER RELEVANT AGENCIES
***Aiyedatiwa’s Aide, Falana receives new NSCDC Commandant Ibiloye
The Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Gender Matters, Chief(Mrs) Olamide Falana has expressed the readiness to work with relevant agencies towards promoting gender matters in the state.
The governor’s aide who was playing host to the newly-posted and 20th Substantive NSCDC State Commandant, Oluyemi Ibiloye on a working visit to her office in Akure.
Falana who said gender issues have received a great degree of attention under the present administration expressed happiness that the security agency is prepared to work with the office.
“I appreciate the proactiveness of the men and officers of Ondo State Security and Civil Defence Corps in the area of fight against human trafficking as well as their commitment and tenacity on the job.”
“This working visit is an attestation for us at the Gender Office that we have found an ally that share the same passion as ours because gender issues affect the society as a whole.”
“We look forward to better collaborations with the State NSCDC regarding Gender-based violence issues, trafficking and other areas that affect women and young girls.”
The State Commandant of the Corps, Oluyemi Ibiloye had promised that his coming to the state would not only compliment the efforts of the Office of Gender Matters but also foster existing relationship between the two offices.
