
ONDO, OSUN AND EKITI SET FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON CONSTITUTIONAL REVIEW IN AKURE
Stakeholders in the Nigerian Project are to converge on Friday across the various geo-political zones in the country for public hearing on the review of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Citizens from Osun, Ekiti and Ondo States are to converge on Akure the Ondo State capital for the Southwest Center ‘B’ zone.
The event being spearheaded by the House of Representatives Committee on the Review of the constitution is slated for Friday July 18th, 2025 at the International Center for Events and Culture popularly known as The Dome in Akure.
According to a statement made public by the Permanent Secretary in the Political and Economic Department in the Governor’s Office, Dele Akinnagbe, the public hearing is to ensure broader participation by Nigerians and foster exchange of ideas.
He said it will also provide a platform for feedback to members of the public on memoranda submitted.
Akinnagbe said the Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has put in place all structures and processes that would ensure a hitch-free and productive
deliberation.
