ONDO RETIRED HEADS OF SERVICE, PERMANENT SECRETARIES HOLD END-OF-THE-YEAR GET-TOGETHER
It was a gathering of technocrats who had played significant roles in the governance of Ondo State at one time or the other.
The event was the 2025 End-of-the-Year Get-together and Awards Night of the Association of Retired Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Service in the state.
The event attracted the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye retired as a Permanent Secretary, Pa Omoolorun Modupe, Dr. Ajose Kudehinbu and many others.
The President of the Association, Mrs. Mojisola Ajayi said the event was put in place to reflect on the past, observe the present and project into the future.
While commending the level of cooperation received by members, the President assured that there would continue to be improvement in the runnings of the affairs of the association.
The Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye expressed joy that the association keeps waxing stronger, while commending members for their past and present contributions to the society at large.
The high point of the event was presentation of awards to some members for their contributions to both the association as well as governance in the state and the society at large.
They include the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye, Chief Adewole Atandeyi, Pa Omoolorun Modupe, Mr. Akin Adaramola, Barrister Fola Amure, Dr. Olufemi Awani, Prince Fioye Bayowa among others.
Late Chief Olaiya Oni was also honoured with post-humous award.
