The First Female Secretary to Ondo State Government, Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu, has congratulated Mr. Deolu Ijose on his appointment as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC).
Princess Odu, in a statement made available by her Media Officer, Debbie Funmilayo described Mr. Ijose, an indigene of Ilutitun in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State, as a dedicated and performance-driven personality.
She maintained that his emergence as the CEO of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company was as a result of immense contributions to the development of the company during his service as an Interim Board Member of BEDC and the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEC).
According to the SSG, “it is with great joy that I heartily congratulate a man with great wealth of experience and high zest to carry out the task ahead. Ondo State is blessed to have a son who possesses excellent managerial skill and leadership acumen needed to run transformational policies in the private sector”.
“It is our hope that his tenure shall bring unprecedented feats that will positively affect the lives of the people of Ondo State”.
