ONDO STATE ACCOUNTANTS FORUM GETS NEW EXECUTIVE AS COMRADE ADEKANBI EMERGES CHAIRMAN
The Ondo State Accountants Forum (ODSAF) has sworn in new executive members to pilot the affairs of the forum for another term of two years.
The oath-taking ceremony was officiated by Barrister Omoleye, a Supreme Court legal luminary.
Comrade Thompson Adekanbi the newly sworn-in Chairman would lead other nine Executive members in providing administration and leadership for the forum.
The other Executive members include Comrade Idowu Temilade Sussanah, FCNA as Vice Chairman, Comrade Anaun Adekunle as General Secretary, Comrade Ajibola Sunday as Assistant General Secretary, Comrade Afuye Joseph Tolayo as Treasurer, Comrade Fafila Ruth as Social Director, Comrade Oluwakoya Blessing as Auditor, Comrade Ayo-Ajayi Elizabeth, Chief Whip, Comrade Olubo Kolade as Financial Secretary and Comrade Agbeleye Temitope as the Publicity Secretary.
According to a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Tope Agbeleye, the event which was attended by the leader of the forum who doubles as the Ondo State Accountant General, Pastor Segun Orisabinone, FCA who declared the programme open with dignitaries and high-ranking officers of the forum in attendance.
He charged the new executives to remain committed towards discharging a selfless service to the forum.
The Chairman, Comrade Thompson in his inaugural speech, pledged to lead the forum as a servant- leader-Chairman.
He also pledged to uphold accountability, prudence and transparency being the very values upon which the forum was established.
He expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa for his unwavering support for the forum.
Comrade Adekanbi specially acknowledged and appreciated the Hon. Commissioner of Finance, Hon.(Mrs). Omowumi Isaac, for her dedication and interest in the forum’s progress.
He also urged members of the forum to maintain unity and work towards a shared direction.
