Ondo State has all it takes to be a place of pride like Osun State if the people of the state rally round and vote PDP and Agboola Ajayi in the coming Gubernatorial election on Nov 16.
This was disclosed yesterday by the Governor of Osun State, H E Ademola Jackson Adeleke when he led the PDP Gubernatorial Campaign to Oniparaga, , Ajebandele, Kajola as well as to Ile Oluji and Okeigbo towns .
While lamenting the level of decadence in Ondo State at the moment the performing Governor from Osun State said many people have written Osun State off before he became governor but at the moment , Osun State is flourishing while the people continue to feel the impact of government insisting that same will happened in Ondo State of the people trooped out in large numbers to vote for PDP in the coming Nov 16 Governorship election in Ondo State.
While paying homage and receiving the royal blessing in Ile Oluji from the paramount ruler of Ile Oluji, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Julius Oluwole Olufaderi Adetimehin, Jimoko II
The Jegun of Ile-Oluji and the paramount ruler of Ile-Oluji Kingdom prayed for the Governorship Candidate, H E Agboola Alfred Ajayi and his Deputy Governorship Candidate, Hon Festus Akingbaso insisting that good fortune would ever be their portion in this coming election stressing however that if they become the helmsmen in Ondo State after the Nov 16 election they should always remember ile Oluji for good..
Addressing the gathering of teeming supporters after leaving the palace , Governor Adeleke of Osun State had admonished them to vote for PDP and said they would enjoy the presence of government in the town and adjoining communities.
Reeling out his 7 points agenda for Ondo State, the Gubernatorial candidate , H E Agboola Alfred Ajayi said the agenda has become sancrosant and will be faithfully implemented to the letter for the good of the people .
Talking about his promises of seventy six thousand naira ( 76 k) minimum wage for Ondo State workers under his watch as Governor, Agboola Ajayi revealed that the implementation of his own avowed minimum wage will be implementee across board in the state civil service.
” We wud not joke with our Civil servants, I will make sure that the minimum wage we wud give to our workers cut across all board and salaries of Ondo workers would always be paid on the 23rd or 24th of every month ” Ajayi said .
He however implored all citizens of Ondo State who are eligible to vote to come out enmass and vote for PDP stressing that nobody can rig or manipulate their vote ” your vote will count in this coming election, just come out and vote, protect your vote , let it be counted in your presence and result was announced while you were still there ” the Gubernatorial candidate said .
