ONDO TAMPAN DECORATES DR. OLUBUNMI ADEMOSU AS GRAND PATRONESS AS ASSOCIATION INAUGURATES NEW EXCO
The Special Adviser to Mr Governor on Public and Inter- Governmental Relations, Dr. ‘Bunmi Ademosu IION, was on Monday May 1st, 2023 decorated as the Grand Patroness of TAMPAN at a grand event marking the inauguration of the state executive council in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
Multiple awardee, Dr. Ademosu while appreciating the association for deeming it fit to honour her said she is indeed overwhelmed by the outpour of love.
Dr. Ademosu who also assured members of the association of her readiness to partner with them in reviving the Yoruba culture and traditions that is already going into extinction, further promised to support the group in all ways possible.
“I am a typical Akure woman. I want to admonish our people that we must not throw away our history. We have a rich culture and tradition as Yorubas”
“I am joining you because I want us to revive our tradition so that every Yoruba will become proud of our tradition”, she added.
Also at the event was the Olowa of Igbara Oke kingdom, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede CFR, who used the occasion to express congratulations to the new state executive as well as the Grand Patroness.
Major highpoint of the event was the official presentation of certificate to the Grand Patroness, Dr. Ademosu by Tampan Global President, Otunba Bolaji Amusan JP (MR LATIN) who described her as a fearless woman with intimidating profile.
While also acknowledging that Ondo State TAMPAN is indeed lucky to have her as the Patroness, MR LATIN called for support for the growth of indigenous movie.production which he said requires huge capital investment.
Other highlights include the official inauguration of all state executives as well as the unveiling of the production of a new movie titled: “Iya Alagbo”
In attendance at the event include friends, associates and other top government functionaries, Royal Fathers as well as other national leaders of TAMPAN.
