
ONDO WOMEN COMMEND AIYEDATIWA OVER SKILL ACQUISITION PROGRAMME
Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has reaffirmed his commitment to empowering women through skill acquisition programs.
This initiative aims to enhance their well-being and reduce poverty in the society.
Represented by his Special Adviser on Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Bosede Osamaye, while on inspection on the various skill acquisition program centers in Akure on Thursday 20th March 2025.
The governor emphasized that these programs will equip women with the skills to become employers of labour
Dr. Osamaye encouraged the participants to remain determined and focused on achieving their targets.
The governor also assured the women of his continued support, stating that they will not be abandoned.
Women from all 18 local government areas of the state have been selected to participate in these skill acquisition programs,includes tailoring,tile and dye confectionary, ICT.
Meanwhile,the women thereafter expressed their gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa for this initiative, citing its potential to significantly improve their well-being
