ONDO WOMEN SET TO JOIN GLOBAL COMMUNITY FOR INT’L WOMEN’S DAY SATURDAY

…1,000 women across 18 LGAs to be empowered by Governor Aiyedatiwa

Women in Ondo State are getting set to join the global community to commemorate this year’s International Women’s Day holding on Saturday March 8th, 2025.

Various programmes have been put in place to make the day not only colourful but also to ensure that the inclusivity of the Aiyedatiwa administration is demonstrated.

According to the Special Adviser to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye no fewer than one thousand women would be empowered at the event by the state government.

She also explained that the event slated for International Center for Events and Culture would attract talks by female professionals in different sectors.

Osamaye stated that the event would be attended by representatives of women from across the three senatorial districts of the state.

Transportations provided across the 18 local government areas for the representatives.
