Speaking at the inauguration, NGF Chairman and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, said the platform enables Commissioners and gender experts to collaborate, share best practices and fast-track actions on women’s political participation, economic inclusion, protection from gender-based violence and access to essential services.
The initiative, which started as a pilot in six states, will be expanded to 31 states.
Reacting to the launch, the Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr Seun Osamaye, warmly commended the NGF and its leadership.
