The Executive Chairman of Ose Local Government, Hon. Barr. Clement Kolapo Ojo, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the Paramount Ruler of Idoani Kingdom, HRM Oba (Dr.) Major-General Olufemi Olutoye (Rtd), OFR, Psc, JP — Oluwatomiloye I, as the revered monarch celebrates his 94th birthday on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
In an official statement released to commemorate the milestone, Hon. Ojo described the Alani of Idoani as a symbol of wisdom, service, and royal dignity. He praised the monarch for his unwavering commitment to the development and peace of Idoani Kingdom and Ose Local Government at large.
“Kabiyesi kade pelori, ki bata pe lese; waje ju awon isiwaju lo,” the Chairman said, using the Yoruba expression to wish the monarch long life and reign surpassing his predecessors. He further prayed for continuous strength, good health, and divine favor upon the royal father.
Oba Olutoye, a retired Major-General in the Nigerian Army and a respected elder statesman, ascended the throne of his forefathers after a distinguished military career. His 94th birthday has drawn goodwill messages from dignitaries, traditional rulers, and citizens both at home and in the diaspora.
Hon. Ojo concluded his message with a resounding expression of joy, saying, “Idoani Agbewa oooo, ni asiko tiyin ooo,” reinforcing the collective pride and gratitude of the people of Ose Local Government for the monarch’s exemplary leadership.
