OWO YOUTHS ENDORSE TIMEHIN ADELEGBE FOR 2027 RE-ELECTION
As political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, the youths of Owo have issued a powerful and unified call for the re-election of Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, the Member representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement, the Owo Youth Movement described Hon. Adelegbe’s tenure in the 10th National Assembly as a defining era of visible, people-centered leadership that has set a new benchmark for representation in Ondo State.
Widely acclaimed as the state’s most outstanding federal legislator, Hon. Adelegbe has demonstrated exceptional commitment through consistent, high-impact interventions that have touched every community in Owo and Ose.
Since assuming office, he has spearheaded ambitious infrastructure renewal, including the distribution and installation of 3,000 solar-powered streetlights across towns and villages to improve nighttime security, extend productive hours for businesses and residents, and bring light to previously dark rural areas.

The lawmaker has pioneered sustainable support by distributing over 100,000 improved hybrid cocoa seedlings in multiple batches, alongside thousands of agro-chemicals, more than 200 water pumps, over 2,500 weed sprayers, and targeted cash grants (including ₦250,000 to select farmer groups).
These interventions are boosting cocoa yields, enhancing food security, aligning with national agricultural priorities, and generating lasting wealth for rural households.
Education and youth development have received major attention through school renovations, construction of classroom blocks and skill acquisition centres, bursary awards for indigent students, and investment in modern learning facilities to equip the next generation with quality education and employable skills.
His empowerment programmes have become iconic, directly benefiting thousands of youths, women, artisans, market women, students, and vulnerable groups. Distributions include cash grants ranging from ₦20,000 to ₦100,000, over 500 sewing machines, 350 generators, 300 dryers, 350 motorcycles, tricycles, laptops, deep freezers, head dryers, and other productive equipment.
Vocational training initiatives such as fish farming programmes that equipped over 150 youths with starter packs and ₦30,000 each alongside job facilitation, palliatives during economic hardship, and support for churches, community associations, and local groups have created opportunities where none previously existed.
Hon. Adelegbe leads with integrity, humility, accessibility, and direct engagement. He listens attentively to constituents, delivers on promises, and consistently bridges the gap between Abuja and grassroots communities in a manner that has exceeded expectations and redefined quality representation.
The group stressed that returning Hon.
