PASSENGERS BURNT TO DEATH AS BUSES COLLIDE ON OWO-IKARE-AKOKO ROAD
Passengers of two 18-seater buses have reportedly feared dead after the vehicles they were traveling in burst into flames following a head-on collision.
The accident which reportedly occured on Owo-Ikare-Akoko road in the northern part of Ondo State on Saturday afternoon.
Security agents including Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps as well as the Nigeria Police have since arrived the scene.
According to images made public on the social media and credited to GokeMedia, the remains of the victims were being moved from the burnt vehicles.
The security agencies were also battling to clear the road to allow for free passage.
