
POPULATION CENSUS: ONDO NPC BOSS KEMI IYANTAN SEEKS PARTNERSHIP WITH NTA, FRCN POSITIVE FM
In line with h her plan to hit the ground running, the Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission in Ondo State Kemi Iyantan has called for collaboration with the Nigerian Television Authority to enhance public awareness and dissemination of the activities of the commission especially the upcoming national census.
This was highlighted during a courtesy visit by the Federal Commissioner to
Africa’s largest television network in NTA Akure to amplify public awareness and promote its activities, particularly in preparation for the upcoming national census.
The Federal Commissioner emphasized the importance of generating accurate data to drive national development.
In response, the General Manager of NTA Akure, Olubunmi Oke expressed appreciation for the collaboration, describing the engagement as a significant step toward fostering strong partnership.
She noted that the alliance would help educate the public on the commission’s role in national resource allocation and distribution.
Similarly, the Federal Commissioner accompanied by the State Director, Mrs. Olayinka Chijioke and other management staff was also at the Radio Nigeria Positive FM where the General Manager, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere expressed the readiness to cooperate with the commission.
The General Manager said there are many windows of partnership with the commission, assuring that the station would play significant roles in generations of accurate data.
