PROMISED LAND PROPHETIC MINISTRIES CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY IN STYLE

They all came together from within and outside the the state to the headquarters of the Promised Land Prophetic Ministries located on Akure-Owo expressway to identify with the church as the 15th anniversary was being celebrated.
Members of the church dressed in a blue and orange Ankara fabric which appeared in different fashion styles that depicts a high degree of celebration just as the children were not left out.
The 15th anniversary and thanksgiving service moved from one agenda to the other with the choir rendering various songs of praise to appreciate God for witnessing the special day.
The children choir came up with choreography as well as songs that made guests and members of the danced and admired the gift of God in the future leaders.
With the theme, “Faithfulness of God”, the Guest Preacher, Prophet Isaac called on christians to always give thanks to God irrespective of the situation in the country and expressed the hope that God would turn around the country.
He prayed for the Senior Pastor, Gbenga Akinbiyi and his wife, the congregation, Ondo State and Nigeria in general.
A documentary on the existence of the church and the personality of the founder was played as various unique attributes of the Senior Pastor, Gbenga Akinbiyi were analysed.
The media work revealed that Prophet Gbenga Akinbiyi had been predicted to become a man of God right from his youthful days as x-rayed in the audiovisual documentary by the current CAC General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji.
He emphasized that he told Pastor Gbenga’s mother that contrary to her wish for the child to further education, he would rather end up in the vineyard.
This, Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji emphasized would enable Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi to be delivered from a family bondage that had continued to affect the family.
Also in the documentary, the mother, Mama Lucia Akinbiyi told a story of how he fainted and was about to be buried before God intervened and raised him back to life.
The incident which happened in Ibadan when the Pastor was about a year and a half.
Till this day, the scar of that day is still on the leg of the senior Pastor as they tried to burn his legs to being him back to life until he was touched by God himself.
Addressing the gathering, Senior Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi said he is a child of destiny and appreciated God, his family, friends and members of the congregation for the privilege to have played significant roles in building army of Christ.
The event climaxed with cutting of the anniversary cake, thanksgiving from one group to the other just as provision was also made for food and drinks to underline the celebration.
