RM EXAMINATION: AIYEDATIWA’S AIDE, OSAMAYE FELICITATES UNIMED ONDO NURSING STUDENTS ON 100 PERCENT SUCCESS
The Special Adviser to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Women Affairs, Dr(Mrs) Seun Osamaye has felicitated graduating nursing students of the University of Medical Sciences(UNIMED) Ondo City.
The graduating nursing students recorded 100 percent in the just concluded RM examination.
It is also the first time the University had hosted the Nursing and Midwifery Council examination in Ondo City as the students were always moved to Achievers University for previous examinations.
The Special Adviser to Governor on Women Affairs, Dr.(Mrs) Seun Osamaye commended the management of UNIMED for ensuring not only the success of the academic exercise but also the creation of conducive environment.
”We thank our Governor, Honourable Lucky Aiyedatiwa for prioritising the nursing profession by positioning one of them as a full-time board member of Hospitals Management Board.”
While expressing confidence in the ability of the nurses in the state to impart positively on the health sector, the Special Adviser made case for possible automatic employment for all the successful candidates.
Similarly, a full-time board member in the state Hospitals Management Board, Nurse Aarinola Adamolekun attributed the level of success to the high degree of commitment by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to nursing profession as well as the sector in general.
Adamolekun described the recent involvement of the informal sector in the State Health Insurance Scheme as a display of the governor’s determination to achieve universal health coverage.
She therefore urged the electorate to give the governor total support in the forthcoming governorship election.
