SAMUEL AJAYI HAILS NDDC DIRECTOR ABEGUNDE ON 70TH BIRTHDAY, ASIWAJU OF AKURE TITLE
A grassroots politician from Ifedore local government area of Ondo State, Mr Samuel Ajayi has felicitated former Secretary to the State Government, Ifedayo Abegunde on his 70th birthday.
The Ijare-born philanthropist also hailed the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo on the conferment of Asiwaju of Akure on the Executive Secretary of Niger Delta Development Commission.
In a statement, Mr. Samuel Ajayi described the grassroots politician as a great encouragement for both upcoming and serving politicians.
In his words, “Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde fondly called ‘Abena’ by his admirers has served as a two-time member of the House of Representatives and his representation was impactful.
“Hon Abegunde was also Secretary to the Ondo State Government and we can also attest to his impact on both human and societal development”.
“With the role he is playing today as Executive Director in the NDDC, we are confident that he would play his part in ensuring that the dream of the commission would be realised”.
Mr. Ajayi congratulated the Akure-born politician for having justified the confidence reposed in him and prayed for more celebrations as he forges ahead in his quest to impart positively on the lives of his people.
