SCKYÉ HOSPITAL ‘NEW YEAR BABIES’, ‘BABY OF THE YEAR’ GET GIFTS FROM MANAGEMENT
The authorities of Sckyé Hospitals in Akure the Ondo State capital have presented gift items to New Year Babies and Baby of the year in the health facility.
The gifts were presented to the beneficiaries by a member of the hospital management, Mrs Abiola Wilson-Ikubese who assured that the gesture would not only be sustained but also improved upon.
According to a post made public on the social media wall of the hospital and signed by the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Thomas Wilson-Ikubese, it’s part of the tradition of the hospital to honour babies in such categories.
“Our “New Year Babies” are Sckyé Babies born on New Year Day (January 1st)”
“Our “Baby Of The Year” is the FIRST BABY to be delivered in our facility in the New Year”.
“Today, we have a total of four lovely babies that were delivered in Sckyé hospital”.
“All of them won several baby items (prizes) as “New Year Babies” from Sckyé Hospitals Ltd and Christopher Rose & Mary Foundation, while Baby Akinbaloye who was the first baby to be delivered at 12.10am won the “Baby Of The Year” award with an addition of a cash prize from Christopher Rose & Mary Foundation and a fifty thousand naira (cheque) from Sckyé Hospitals Ltd”.
“We pray for these children that the Almighty God shall preserve them and cause them to excel in their future endeavors”.
