The Executive Director of Renewed Hope for the Disabled Initiative, Mr. Wale Akintade in a press release issued at Akure described the gesture as life-changing and timely, especially in the face of the current economic challenges in the country.
“This is the first time in the history of this State that a sitting Senator will think about the often forgotten and marginalized group in the society who are part of the electoral processes that do vote during elections but are always left out of enjoying dividends of democracy”
He further stated that “we are appealing to all other elected representatives at both the local, State and federal levels of government to emulate the good gesture of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim in making lives better for citizens with Disabilities in their own various constituencies as we can’t just leave everything concerning issues of persons with Disabilities to the State Government all alone”
Senator Jimoh Ibrahim’s intervention reaffirms his unwavering commitment to the service of humanity and the continuous development of Ondo Southern part at Senate.
We celebrate his vision, compassion, and exemplary leadership and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
