“I have observed that the people of Ondo North Senatorial District need a leader that will lead them to further expand the potentials that exist in the area” he said.
Ipinsagba expressed confidence that he would restore the lost glory of the Senatorial District if elected come 2023 general elections, saying “I am out to complement the efforts of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji- Ojo in making sure that our area is given rapid development.”
In his speech, an APC Chieftain in Akoko North West, Evangelist Olumuyiwa Asagunla, Odofin Ogboye of Affa Okeagbe said the turnout of people for the meeting was overwhelming, saying it means Pastor Jide Ipinsagba could be trusted because he has been tested.
“We are all with you and all of us wish you well, wish you the best of luck, wish you success in this race to get the ticket”, Asagunla prayed
According to him, in the interest of equity and fairness, it is the turn of Akoko North East/North West federal constituency to produce the Senator to represent the district
“Presenly Akoko North West has a Member of House of Representatives in Akoko North Federal Constituency, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO) who is doing very well. And if we have a person like Ipinsagba at the Senate, the sky is the limit for Ondo North in terms of infrastructural development and it will not be business as usual at the National Assembly”, Asagunla maintained
Earlier in his speech, the Chairman of APC in Akoko North West Local government, Hon. Kehinde Obanla (AKA Ajapara) said the Exco members should be decisive in their decision since it is the turn of the area to produce the Senator for Ondo North.
“Since we have decided to allow Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to go for second term at House of Representatives, then the coast is clear that Ikare-Akoko, Akoko North East should produce the next Senator. I know God will give us someone like BTO as Senator at Ikare Akoko who will work for the progress of the Senatorial District”, he said
In his contribution, the Coordinator of Ipinsagba team, Hon. Joseph Aladetimehin told the Exco members that “this is the time to pay Ipinsagba back for his contributions in the area”.
