A Non-Governmental Organisation based in Ondo and Ekiti States with global partners “Skill-A-Youth” has trained another set of Nigerian Youths in UI/UX.
UI stands for User Interface while UX stands for User Experience. UI and UX designs are closely related fields that work together to create a positive user experience
UI design focuses on the visual elements of a product or service such as the look and feel of a website or app.
UI designs include the screens, buttons, icons, and other elements that users interact with.
Having realised the place of this aspect of technology in the present day computer age, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the non-profit organisation, Mr. Ilesanmi Ade-Ademola a.k.a Brainbox came up with a training for youths to enable them meet up with global best practices.
The training which had in attendance a large number of participants was carried out in Akure the Ondo State capital at no cost to the beneficiaries.
Ilesanmi Ade-Ademola brought together egg heads in the technology world and trained the youths for a period of three months without them paying for the services.
Speaking with newsmen at the end of the training in Akure, Brainbox as fondly called by admirers said the development is part of his callings as a philanthropist to encourage human and societal development.
In his words, “UI/UX design is a great career choice, especially if you love creativity and problem-solving. Your background in electronics and communication engineering will complement your transition well.”
I am very sure that by this time next year, the youths that have just completed their training will be flying higher in the technology world, Ade-Ademola said.
The Ekiti-born entrepreneur and politician has trained over 4,000 youths free of charge many of whom are today reference point across the country.
