
TECHNICAL GLITCH AFFECTED 157 CENTERS OUT OF 887 – JAMB
…Over 300,000 Candidates to be contacted to resit examination – Oloyede
The Registrar of Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede has announced that candidates affected by the glitches recorded in 2025 UTME would be allowed to resit the examination.
The Registrar who was addressing the media on Wednesday regretted the situation which he said had caused trauma to thousands of families affected.
In his words, “It has been established that a technical glitch affected 157 centres out of the 887 centres in the 2025 UTME”.
“This was basically responsible for the general low performance of the candidates scheduled to sit the examination in those centres”.
Reports have it that no fewer than 380,000 candidates are to resist the examination.
The Registrar said the affected candidates would be contacted through their registered telephone numbers in preparation for the resit .
