‘THE NIGERIAN PROJECT’ INAUGURATES PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ARM IN FCT
‘The Nigerian Project’ has inaugurated members of the People Living With Disabilities arm of the project in the Federal Capital Territory.
The event held at Area 3 Multipurpose Market area of the federal capital had in attendance stakeholders in the project within and outside the territory.
The Coordinator of the Physically Challenged in the project, Bature Abubakar said the move is part of the efforts to underline the commitment of the project to promoting a Nigeria of inclusivity.
Abubakar who is also the Provost Marshal of ‘The Nigerian Project’ emphasised that people living with disabilities would be given recognition by the project when it has the opportunity to influence governance at all levels.
While noting that there is ability in disability, the Coordinator called on other state coordinators of people living with disabilities to brace up as work would soon reach a high engagement mode.
