‘THE NIGERIAN PROJECT’ NATIONAL CONVENOR REAGAN UFOMBA ORDERS DISBANDMENT OF REGIONAL GROUPINGS WITHIN ASSOCIATION
… Announces February 29, 2025 deadline to fully align under TNP or tender their resignations
The National Convenor of ‘The Nigerian Project’, Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba has directed the disbandment of all Zonal and Regional groupings with the TNP with immediate effect.
The Convenor who was reacting to observations that such groupings were about taking shape within the Project warned that State coordinators and persons found violating the directive would face suspension.
According to a statement made public by the National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Seun Adetola, leaders promoting regional or zonal groupings outside of TNP are given until February 29, 2025 to merge with or fully align themselves under TNP or tender their resignation.
Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba stated that “It has come to the notice of The Nigerian Project (TNP) that some state coordinators are regrouping under zonal and regional platforms, forming alliances that defy the clear directives and objectives of TNP”.
“Let it be unequivocally stated that such zonal and regional groupings will no longer be tolerated within TNP, effective immediately upon this announcement”.
“We are The Nigerian Project”.
“Under no circumstances shall we allow the regionalisation of this patriotic movement into entities such as Ohaneze Ndigbo, Omo Oduduwa, Arewa, or even Biafra. A decadent scenario that has brought Nigeria to it’s knees”.
“TNP remains committed to its mission as a unified Nigerian platform for nation-building. This, was displayed, in part, in the equitable formation of our NWC”.
“Leaders promoting regional or zonal groupings outside of TNP are given until February 29, 2025, to merge with or fully align themselves under TNP or tender their resignation. Failure to comply will result in suspension from participation in TNP activities”.
Ufomba noted that he had since merged his personal Organisation, ‘The Changeabia Organisation’ with the TNP, encouraging others in that capacity to immediately merge with ‘The Nigerian Project’.
“This is The Nigerian Project: a collective mission for a patriotic, united, and progressive Nigeria”, Ufomba added.
