
TINUBU ACCEPTS RESIGNATION OF MINISTER OF INNOVATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, GEOFFREY NNAJI
President Bola Tinubu has accepted the resignation of Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, amid allegations levelled against him.
The announcement was made in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on October 7, 2025.
Nnaji, who was appointed in August 2023, tendered his resignation in a letter to the President on Tuesday, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve the nation. He alleged that he had been a target of blackmail by political opponents.
In response, President Tinubu thanked Nnaji for his contributions to the administration and wished him success in his future endeavours.
