
TINUBU’S AIDE, TEMITOPE AJAYI HAILS ADEGBULUGBE FOR REDUCING CRUDE PRODUCTION COST FROM $40 TO $15 PER BARREL

The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi has joined numerous stakeholders across the world to commend the giant strides being recorded by Green Energy International Limited in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria.
In a statement made public by the Presidential Aide after a visit to the Ondo-born energy expert in Abuja, he described Professor Anthony Adegbulugbe as a pride not only to Nigeria but the global community in general.
Apart from commending the Chairman of Green Energy International Limited for building the first indigenous onshore crude oil terminal in the country, the Presidential Aide emphasized that his company reduced the cost of producing crude oil from the usual 40 dollars to 15 dollars per barrel.
In his words, “I spent today’s afternoon with Professor Anthony Adegbulugbe, Executive Chairman of Green Energy International Limited. He is an expert in Energy Planning and Management”.
“He was Director of Centre for Energy Research and Development at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife from 1994-2010”.
“Professor Adegbulugbe who graduated from the then University of Ife and later got his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is the kind of academics we need in Nigeria”.
“Those who really understand the linkage between the town and the gown – who can move from theory to praxis”.
“His company Green Energy built a $400 million crude oil export terminal in Rivers State, the first of its kind by an indigenous operator”.
