The New Executives of Bola Ahmed TINUBU Vanguard (BAT VANGUARD) have been inaugurated in Akwa Ibom State with a call on members to canvass massive support for the aspiration of the All Progressives Congress Presidential flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU.
Performing the inauguration in Uyo, the National Convener of the group, Hon. Sola Olofin who was ably represented by the National Woman leader, Dr. (Mrs) Esther Etuk tasked members to work assiduously for the success of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Shettima in the elections.
Olofin emphasized that members should embark on Door- to- Door campaigns, noting that issue- based approach should be employed in selling the candidate and his running mate as well as the party.
The BAT Vanguard Converner said the presidential candidate is a detribalized Nigerian with intellectual capacity and humanitarian heart.
Olofin drew inference on the case of the conjoined twins who Asiwaju Bola Tinubu flew to Hopkins Children’s Hospital in Baltimore in the United States for successful surgical separation to be able to live their seperate lives and also went further to give the parents a befitting furnished apartment in one of the high brow Estates in Lagos.
The Converner recalled the transformation process experienced in Lagos State during Tinubu’s administration as Governor, expressing optimism that he would replicate such degree of achievements as President when elected.
Hon. Olofin went further to reveal that BAT VANGUARD on behalf of Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the BAT CARES PROGRAMME recently embarked on hospital visitation in FCT by paying bills for patients who had challenges by emulating the antecedents and legacies Asiwaju Bola Tinubu left behind in Lagos State through his free medical Scheme.
He stated further that BAT VANGUARD is committed to replicate more of such projects in other States as he disclosed that the group is planning to pay bills for 15,000 ante-natal women in Niger State in a couple of weeks.
“During his reign as the Executive Governor of Lagos state, the Jagaban of Africa, Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave free hands to elective and appointive positions in Lagos State from all strata of the country “.
“Worthy of note, an Akwa Ibom person, from Etinan LGA was elected a councilor in Lagos state in 2004”, the BAT Vanguard Converner stressed.
“If I am not convinced about Tinubu’s superlative attributes and performances, I would not be here”.
“Therefore, I charge you all to put in your strength, time, sacrifices, and commitment in supporting Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition, for it will surely pay off”, Olofin emphasized.
Speaking shortly after the inauguration, the state coordinator of BAT Vanguard, Comrade Raphael Udokang congratulated the inaugurated members, urging them to return to their various LGAs, Wards, and Units, to mobilize massive support for Tinubu’s presidency.
He expressed the willingness of the organization to embark on massive mobilization for the actualization of the APC presidential bid, while thanking the national leadership for the confidence reposed in him and other members of the Vanguard.
Comrade Udokang extolled Nigerians and All Progressives Congress for finding Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu fit in nominating him as presidential flag bearer, pointing out that his past and present records speak intimidating volumes.
The Chapter Coordinator of Etinan, Dr. Godwin Noah who spoke on behalf of the inaugurated Chapter executive members, expressed satisfaction with the presidential ambition of Tinubu, pointing out that Tinubu is a detribalized Leader.
The Inauguration was witnessed by prominent politicians, State party Stakeholders such as Chief Sunny Ibanga(CEO Seba Water), Hon Patty Etete Ineme(a two- term House of Representatives member), Dr Etukakpan Solomon Etukakpan(CEO Dunamis Cottage Hospital), Mrs. Glory Effiong, Barr Ini Ekpo, Dr. Godwin Noah, and Chief Eto Jordan amongst others.
High point of the event was a prayer for the success of Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the presentation of appointment letters to the state executives and Chapter Coordinators of the organization, and the donation of an office complex for meetings by Chief Sunny Ibanga.
