TNP NATIONAL CONVENER OCHIAGHA REAGAN UFOMBA MOURNS EX-PRESIDENT BUHARI
The National Convener of The Nigerian Project, Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba has condoled with the immediate family and entire Nigerians on the demise of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Convener who was reacting to the news of the death of the former President described him as a courages military officer and dedicated civilian leader.
In his words, “fellow Compatriots and Members of The Nigerian Project (TNP), We have received the news of the passing of General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd), former Head of State and two-term civilian President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. As a movement committed to truth, justice, and national transformation, we extend our condolences to his family, associates, and the Nigerian people”.
“General Buhari’s life was marked by a long presence in our national journey — from military rule to democratic leadership”.
“While history will remember him for his anti-corruption posture and firm stance on certain national issues, we must also acknowledge that his leadership left many divided and concerned”.
“Fairness, inclusiveness, and justice under his watch were widely debated, especially in regions and communities that felt marginalised, unheard or insecure”.
“In moments like this, we are reminded of the weight of leadership, the imperfections of human rule, and the duty we all bear in shaping a future where fairness and equity are not optional”.
“May his soul find rest, and may Nigeria take this moment to reflect on the lessons of his era — both the gains and the gaps. Let us recommit ourselves to a Nigeria where no one is left behind”, Ochiagha Ufomba stated.
“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”
