The National Convener of The Nigerian Project, Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba has commiserated with leadership and members of the project as well as entire South-south zone on the passing of Elder Statesman, Chief Edwin Clark.
Ufomba said the late PANDEF leader was a national symbol of independence whose commitment to justice, equity, and good governance shaped the political and economic landscape of the nation.
The National Convener described his departure as a monumental loss, not just to the people of the South-South, but to all who believe in the ideals of true federalism, accountability, and progress.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO THE DEPUTY NATIONAL COORDINATOR (SOUTH), COORDINATORS, AND MEMBERS OF TNP SOUTH-SOUTH ON THE PASSING OF ELDER STATESMAN, CHIEF EDWIN CLARK
With profound sadness and a deep sense of loss, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Deputy National Coordinator (South), Coordinators, and all members of The Nigerian Project (TNP) on the passing of our revered elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark.
Chief Clark was not just a titan of the South-South; he was a national symbol of independence whose commitment to justice, equity, and good governance shaped the political and economic landscape of our nation.
His fearless advocacy for the Ijaw people in Niger Delta, his resolute stance on national unity, his unrelenting pursuit of restructuring and resource control, and a just and fair Nigeria will forever be etched in the annals of history.
His departure is a monumental loss, not just to the people of the South-South, but to all who believe in the ideals of true federalism, accountability, and progress.
May the Almighty grant his soul eternal rest and give his family and all Nigerians the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
