The Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Dr Taiwo Fasoranti has urged residents of Akure South Local Government Area to come out in large numbers to welcome Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the council area hosts the ongoing thank-you tour of Mr Governor.
In a statement, the SSG stressed that the impact of the present administration should be acknowledged with the turn-out of residents and party leaders in the area.
The Governor and his entourage are to meet the people of Akure South Local Government Area on Tuesday December 23rd at the NEPA Car Park at Arakale area of the state capital.
Dr. Fasoranti highlighted the various infrastructural interventions being carried out by the Governor, noting that his administrative dexterity has rekindled the hope of the people in democratic governance.
The Akure-born philanthropist and medical practitioner of repute stated that the ijoka road project would not only improve socio-economic and political existence of the state capital but also create a new orientation for the residents.
Fasoranti commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the level of work done on the Onyearugbulem Flyover which he emphasized would improve transportation and ensure smooth flow of traffic for travellers and road users in the area.
The SSG expressed happiness that the Oda road project has facilitated improved economy in the fast- growing community, saying the project has added values to the residents and the community at large.
He said the remodeling of Alagbaka area of the state capital as well as the ongoing urban renewal efforts would attract not only investors but also national and international events.
Dr. Fasoranti therefore urged residents of Akure and the local government area at large to acknowledge the various giant strides of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa by turning out in large numbers to welcome his entourage to the area.
