TRIUMPHANT CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY OF AMERICA CONFERS HONOURARY DOCTORATE DEGREE ON RONKE OJO
The Triumphant Bible College and Seminary, an affiliate of Triumphant Christian University of America has conferred honourary doctorate degree on a Commissioner in the Local Government Service Commission, Hon.(Mrs) Ronke Ojo.
The event held in the Federal Capital Territory was part of activities marking this year’s convocation and awards of the institution.
The ceremony which attracted the creme de la creme in the country and beyond was also to emphasize the meaningful contributions of well-meaning members of the society.
Conferring the honour on Dr.(Mrs) Ronke Ojo, the Vice Chancellor of Triumphant Christian University of America, Prof. Dungji David Joel said the honour is in recognition of the various contributions of the Ondo State-born politician to womanhood and humanity in general.
He described the awardee as “a distinguished leader, humanitarian and trailblazer whose contributions to society have continued to inspire excellence and service”.
The Vice Chancellor emphasized that “the conferment is a recognition of Hon. (Dr.) Mrs. Ronke Ojo’s outstanding impact in public service, her dedication to uplifting lives and unwavering commitment to the values of leadership, empowerment and nation-building”.
Prof. Dungji David Joel stated that Triumphant Christian University of America (TCUA) is proud to identify with Hon. (Dr.) Mrs. Ronke Ojo as a political leader whose contributions remain a lot of encouragement to both current and upcoming generations.
The Vice Chancellor added that Triumphant Christian University of America remains committed to celebrating men and women of substance whose lives exemplify integrity, diligence, and transformative influence in their communities and beyond.
In her remarks, Hon.Dr.(Mrs) Ronke Ojo described the honour as a challenge to keep playing her part in ensuring human and societal development.
The Commissioner in Local Government Service Commission of Ondo State appreciated the opportunity given to her by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to serve her people and the state in general.
She attributed the various successes being recorded in the third tier of government to the commitment of the Governor to overall development of the state.
This historic event attracted dignitaries, academics, faith leaders and well-wishers to celebrate a woman whose story continues to shine as a beacon of hope and progress.
