The Western Youth Development Forum (WYDEF), Abuja, has recognized the outstanding leadership and administrative excellence of Dr. Joseph Aremo, the Chairman of the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC).
In recognition of his pivotal role in conducting a credible, free, and fair election during the 2025 Ondo State local government elections, as well as his exceptional administrative capabilities, Dr. Aremo has been officially decorated as the WYDEF National Patron and conferred with the esteemed titles of Ambassador of Youth and Award of Excellence.
The presentation ceremony took place today, January 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in the ODIEC Headquarters boardroom, Oba Ile, Akure. The honors were bestowed by Prince Sunday Oyedele, the National President of WYDEF, who is an Abuja-based broadcaster, journalist, and publisher.
During the event, Prince Oyedele highlighted Dr. Aremo’s unwavering commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and the empowerment of young people, which has set a benchmark in electoral administration and governance.
