…The Arigidi-Akoko -born federal commissioner says the incumbent has convinced the people he means well in less than one year of being at the helm of affairs
The federal commissioner representing Ondo State in Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission(RMAFC) in Abuja, Dr. Nathaniel Adojutelegan has said that his total support for Governor Aiyedatiwa in this weekend election is basically out his hope for a better Ondo State if he is retained in office beyond 2025.
Adojutelegan who was speaking with newsmen shortly after the All Progressives Congress Mega Rally in Akure the state capital.
The event was presided over by President Bola Tinubu represented by his Vice, Senator Kashim Shettima who was accompanied by the National Chairman as well as Governors and national leaders.
The federal commissioner said the incumbent Governor Aiyedatiwa has been part of governance as representative of his people on national assignments while having served as deputy governor, acting governor and eventually governor has provided opportunities to familiarise with his people.
This, the Ashipori of Ilepa Quarters in Arigidi-Akoko said is an added advantage that will facilitate the much needed overall development of the state.
In his words, “Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has convinced the opinion moulders and the generality of the people that he means well for the state in all ramifications”.
“In the area of workers welfare, prompt payment of salaries and allowances have not become a norm but payment by 25th of every month is a new orientation in the state”.
Similarly, infrastructural intervention, especially the reconstructed Alape-Araromi road in the riverine area just commissioned by the governor is another testament of better things to come”, Adojutelegan stressed.
He therefore urged the people of Ondo State from Akoko to the riverine area to come out enmasse to vote for the APC and its candidate, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Saturday.
