WIDOW OF SLAIN ONDO HEALTH WORKER PLEADS FOR SON’S RELEASE, SEEKS GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION
A heart-wrenching plea has been made by the widow of a health worker Akinola Oyabiyi, who was brutally killed by kidnappers last week.
The woman, who is still trying to come to terms with the loss of her husband is passionately seeking the safe return of her 9-year-old son, Oluwasemilore who was abducted during the incident.
According to her, the kidnappers gained entrance into their home, prompting her to hide herself and the children in the toilet.
Tragically, her husband arrived at the scene, unaware of the danger lurking inside and was killed by the kidnappers.
The son who is still in captivity has left the family and the community in a state of distress.
The widow has appealed to President Tinubu and Ondo State government to intervene and secure the release of her son.
This, she hopes, will allow her to mourn her husband’s death in peace.
As the family and the community continue to pray and seek help, the nation is reminded of the urgent need for improved security measures to protect the lives and property of the citizens.
