YOUTH DEVELOPMENT MINISTER, AYO OLAWANDE REASSURES NIGERIAN YOUTHS OF INCLUSIVE GOVERNANCE

The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande is intensifying efforts at ensuring the realisation of the various ideas aimed at equipping the Nigerian youths.
To this end, the Minister on Thursday Chaired the 7th National Council on Youth Development held in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Olawande said the development is one of the numerous strategies being promoted to facilitate a robust existence and involvement of youths in the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President.
In his words, “this remarkable gathering signified the determination of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to advance the interests of our young people through collaborative efforts”.
“The council, restored after a five-year break, signified a new phase in our journey towards a holistic and result-oriented youth development. With the theme: “Transforming and Repositioning the Nigerian Youth to Thrive and Catalyze Development,” the Council embodies our vision for a brighter future, with deliberation focused on equipping our youth with the tools they need to succeed”.
“I’m excited about the discussions and collaborations that emerged from this council.”
“Together, we can create an environment where our young people can flourish and contribute meaningfully to the progress of our society.”
“We’re committed to continuing our work, hand in hand, to ensure our youth’s voices are heard and their potential realized. We’ll keep working to empower, support, and protect the youth at all times”, the Minister stated.
Olawande said “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, and the people of Borno State for their warm hospitality and support in hosting this important event.”
“I also thank the management and staff of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, as well as all the Youth Commissioners across the country, who made valuable contributions towards the success of the 7th Council”, the Minister added.
