2023 Elections: RCCG creates Directorate of Politics and Governance to Support Political Ambition of Members

The Redeemed Christian Church of God has created Office of Directorate of Politics and Governance at all levels of the church.
According to a letter signed by the Assistant General Overseer in charge of administration and personnel, Pastor J. F. Odesola and addressed to all Pastors-in-charge of Regions and Provinces, Pastor Timothy Olaniyan the PICP, Lagos Province 12 has been appointed to lead the office.
It was also stated that a provincial officer should be appointed immediately for provinces and ensure that “same is done at all levels of the Church, Zones, Areas and Parish”
The letter also reads that “the purpose is to help coordinate the engagement of our people who are willing to be involved in politics as well as mobilise support for them when required”.
Naijaparrots gathered that with this development, the affected authorities are to send the names of their coordinators to appropriate quarters within the next two weeks.
