A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr. Dele Philips has again charged the electorate in the state to pitch their tent with the party’s candidate in Saturday’s governoship election, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for continued overall development of the state and the people.
The international business mogul who was addressing party members in Erijiyan-Ekiti on Sunday said programmes and policies that would impact positively on the lives of the people would be prioritized.

Philips who is also the Chairman of BAO Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government area and a leading reps hopeful in Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 stated that he was prepared to sacrifice his ambition to represent his people and fully work towards the emergence of Biodun Oyebanji as the next Governor of the State.
The APC chieftain stressed that all hands must be on deck to ensure the victory of the party on Saturday as “this will benefit a larger percentage of our people than any personal ambition”.

In his words, “our candidate, Biodun Oyebanji has the required knowledge and experience in governance, having served in various capacities as commissioner, Chief of Staff to Governor as well as Secretary to State Government. We are confident that all these would play significant roles in sustaining and improving on what Dr. John Kayode Fayemi is achieving in the state”.
“On my own, I have put in place logistic arrangements that will facilitate more mobilisation of the electorate in Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero local government areas in the interest of both the party and the people of Ekiti State in general”, the real estate key player added.
Also speaking, the Vice Chairman of Ekameta LCDA, Chief Ebenezer Adebusuyi who handed over some palliative items presented by Dele Phillips Foundation to beneficiaries in Erijiyan-Ekiti said the commitment of Dele Phillips to the BAO project is unequalled.

Adebusuyi who also doubles as the Director of Administration of Dele Phillips Foundation assured that more Interventionist programmes are being put in place for the less privileged as market women in the nooks and crannies of the area would also benefit.
He therefore charged them to be steadfast and mobilise massive votes for Biodun Oyebanji and APC on Saturday when the people of Ekiti State shall go to the polls.
