ANGLICAN GRAMMAR SCHOOL IGBARA-OKE OLD STUDENTS DONATE CHAIRS AND TABLES TO ALMA MATER
As part of contributions to educational development, the old students of the Anglican Grammar School, Igbara Oke, Ondo State who were admitted in 1971, have given back to their Alma Mater, set of modern classroom tables and chairs for sixty students of the school.
The modest donation seen in filling some infrastructural gaps was a token of appreciation to a school that contributed to laying the academic foundation of the old students.
According to the President of the Set, Surveyor Kehinde Isijola, the gesture was an effort to enhance the capability of students to produce their academic best given a conducive atmosphere to be under the tutelage of their tutors.
The General Secretary of the old students association, Mr Bode Famose said the process of handing over the items was done in the presence of the students to lay good example for them to follow, demonstrating the essence of corporate social responsibility.
Among the old students of the set are Surveyor Kehinde Isijola,
Chairman Body of Fellows, Nigerian Institution of Surveyors, Ogun State.
Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi the RCCG Assistant General Overseer in Charge of Education and Training,
Mrs Folakemi Aturu nee Olagbaiye based in the United States.
Mr Henry Otoighile, Former Registrar & now Director of Training, Federal College of Education Akoka, Lagos
Elder Francis Ajayi, former Group Head, Wema bank and Kolawole Saidu based in the UK.

The Principal of the School, Mrs Aboyewa, appreciated the association for the kind gesture. She requested for community support to strengthen the teacher parents relationship to enhance production of better students who are well seasoned, intellectually sound and well disciplined who can compete favorable well with their comperes across the globe.
