
FORMER EKITI REPS HOPEFUL, DELE PHILIPS FELICITATES CHRISTIANS, URGES PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE
A former House of Representatives aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Mr. Dele Philips has sent greetings to Christians on this year’s Easter celebrations, calling upon citizens across the state to unite in fostering a collective will for the transformation of the state.
Philips who contested the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 slot urged people to embrace unity, especially at a period the country is facing challenging times.
The APC leader charged Christians to emulate Jesus Christ by showing love to one another irrespective of individual backgrounds.
He urged christians to continue to pray for peaceful coexistence as well as unity and progress of the state.
While urging residents to sustain their support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji, Philips expressed confidence that the governor’s administration will continue to impart positively on the lives of the people.
“There is no doubt that Ekiti people did not make wrong decision by electing Governor Oyebanji with the various infrastructural development being witnessed across the state”, Philips said.
He added that “there is power in the collective will of the people as they support the Oyebanji-led government in taking the state to greater heights.
