A businessman and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Mr Gbenga Eleduma has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s efforts in restoring Nigeria to the path of economic prosperity, citing the 650,000 barrels per day Dangote Refinery as a key milestone in achieving this goal.
Eleduma noted that the refinery, which is set to be one of the largest in Africa, will not only boost Nigeria’s oil production capacity but also create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and reduce the country’s reliance on imported petroleum products.
He emphasized that with the refinery in operation, Nigeria will no longer need to import refined petroleum products from abroad, marking a significant step towards economic self sufficiency.
Eleduma further stated stated that the construction of the refinery signifies Nigeria’s liberation from the shackles of economic dependence, which have hindered the nation’s progress for an extended period.
” The era of reliance on foreign powers for fuel needs is now behind us, and a new chapter of economic independence and self-determination has commenced. This milestone marks a profound transformation in Nigeria’s economic landscape, enabling the country to harness its resources, drive growth, and foster prosperity for future generations.”, he concluded
