The ancient town of Idanre in Ondo State will be agog this weekend as a popular Nonagenarian and community leader, Chief Moses Ade Akinmade is to be laid to rest.
Apart from being a father to a former Commissioner for Information in Ondo State and currently the Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Kayode Akinmade, the late Pa Akinmade was also an in-law to a leader of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Adegboyega Ajayi who currently serves as an aide to the Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
According to information made public by the family, a Christian Wake will hold at his residence, Odolema at Isalu, Odode-Idanre on Friday February 14th.
The funeral service is slated for the Saturday February 15th at First Baptist Church in the town.
Guests would later converge on Olofin Anglican Grammar School where prominent Nigerians including Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa are expected to honour their own.
Similarly, former Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State is expected to be part of the guests at the event.
