EXCITEMENT AS SESAN AJETOMOBI NAMED TOPSHOT MAN OF THE YEAR
In a night of celebration and accolades, Mr. Sesan Ajetomobi, Group Managing Director of Autoprobe Technical Services, was honoured with the prestigious title – Topshot Man of the Year at the 2025 Topshot Hall of Fame Awards, held on Sunday, July 20th in Akure, Ondo State.
The award, presented in recognition of his exemplary leadership, entrepreneurial excellence, and impact, marks a significant milestone in Mr. Ajetomobi’s journey as a business leader and social contributor.
Responding to the honour, Ajetomobi said it was deeply humbling, noting that he did not anticipate such recognition. “This title is both surprising and inspiring,” he said. “It is a call to greater service — to God, to humanity, and to the values that shape a better society.”
The award ceremony, featured an array of distinguished guests from government, industry, academia, and the civil society. Among the early callers are Engr. Emmanuel Adewumi, MD of Denki Wire and Cable; Pastor Dr. Mrs. Lola Oshin, Proprietress of Mummy’s Place Schools; and High Chief Surv. Semiun Abiodun, former Surveyor General of the state.
Other honourees at the ceremony are Hon. Alaba Alabi, Prince Jide Bolanle (Onimalu), Dr. Toyin Adeyalo, immediate past president of Rotary Club of Akure Metro, among others.
The evening featured a keynote address by urban development expert, Dr. Gbolabo Osunsanmi FNITP, who delivered a lecture titled “Retrospective Perspective on Leadership, Governance, and Development in Ondo State,” offering critical insights into the evolution of leadership in the state.
Dr. Rhoda Makinde, who chaired the occasion, lauded the organizers of the Topshot Awards for maintaining high standards in honouring excellence and integrity across sectors.
The Topshot Hall of Fame Awards, an annual event organised by Topshot News, continues to spotlight individuals making transformative contributions to society while inspiring others to lead with purpose.
