DEJI OF AKURE SET TO INSTALL FUNMILOLA OLUWADARE AS HIGH CHIEF YEYEOGE OF AKURE KINGDOM
A former Special Assistant to Governor Olusegun Mimiko on Safe Motherhood Programme, Chief(Mrs) Funmilola Oluwadare is set to be officially installed the High Chief Yeyeoge of Akure Kingdom.
The event also featuring the Iwuye Ceremony is slated for Tuesday October 7th at the Palace of the Deji of Akure, Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.
The event is expected to also feature display of culture and tradition of Akure Kingdom as well as reflection on the roles of traditional institution in the Kingdom and Yoruba Lane in general.
The ceremony which would attract top government functionaries, traditional authorities, community leaders as well as family members and guests from within and outside the state will climax at Pharmacy House near the Government House.
In an interview, the High Chief, Funmilola Oluwadare described the development as a challenge to continue to contribute her quota to the growth of Akure Kingdom as well as the people in general.
