HOW GBOLOGE WAS GIVEN ROUSING WELCOME AT IKOYA FOLLOWING APPOINTMENT AS AIYEDATIWA’S AIDE
Ikoya community in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State, particularly the Igbisin-Ologoro Ward erupted in celebration as the newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Community Engagement (South), Hon. Gbologe Funmi Alex was accorded a heroic homecoming by massive crowd.
The carnival -like atmosphere drew political leaders and associates, party faithful, community leaders and traditional rulers from across the council area and the senatorial district.
Speakers at the gathering, praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for his remarkable ability to identify excellence and deploy it where it truly matters.
They described Hon. Gbologe’s appointment as another clear testament to the Governor’s sharp, discerning leadership and his commitment to strengthening grassroots engagement across the region while promoting impactful governance at all levels.
In attendance were notable political leaders including the Member representing Okitipupa Constituency I, Hon. Chris Ayebusiwa; Ikale North LCDA Chairman, Hon. Kowe Odunayo (Kalusa); Secretary of Okitipupa LGA, Barr. Femi Olamoju; Leader of the Irele Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Omojuwa Sunday; Councillor for Ikoya/Igbisin-Oloto Ward, Hon. Akunbobola; APC Okitipupa LG Chairman, Hon. Bode Ikulala; APC Ward Chairman, Olumide Efunyade; and APC Woman Leader, Mrs. Tope Omoniyi.
The traditional institution was also strongly represented with the Lumure of Ayeka, Kabiyesi Baba Tunde Ayeyowa; the Odofin of Iju-Oke, Kabiyesi Oba Oguntunsi Ayo; High Chief Owoniyi Babajide, the Majuwa of Irele Kingdom; High Chief Olumakin, the Ruwayo of Ayeka; High Chief Kuti of Irele; and High Chief Gbologe Philip, the Bobagunwa of Ikoya, among others.
