Entrepreneur and hospitality enthusiast Hon. Kikelomo Isijola has officially unveiled Impact Foodie and Lounge in Akure.
The unveiling earned strong endorsements from government officials and traditional rulers who described the establishment as a welcome addition to the city’s evolving lifestyle and hospitality scene.
The unveiling ceremony, held on Monday at Plaza area, beside Agape Church off Oke-Ijebu street, Akure, attracted a blend of public office holders, community leaders and guests, including the Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Hon. (Dr) Gbenga Fasua, the Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) Prince Biyi Poroye, and the Chief Press Secretary to the Ondo State Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Royal fathers in attendance included the Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba ( Barrister) Oluwagbemiga Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III), and the Olu of Aladodo Isinkan, Oba Ayodeji Fatoki.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Hon. Gbenga Fasua recommended Impact Foodie and Lounge to residents as a clean, serene and well-structured space for dining and relaxation.
He noted that the hygienic environment and quality ambience make it suitable for families, professionals and social gatherings, while also contributing to job creation and increased economic activity within the local government area.
The Chairman of OSOPADEC, Prince Biyi Poroye who chaired the occasion, also urged residents to patronise the establishment, describing it as a laudable example of local entrepreneurship deserving of public support.
He commended Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for sustaining a business-friendly environment that continues to attract private investments in hospitality and lifestyle ventures across the state.
Adding royal endorsement, the Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba (Barrister) Oluwagbeniga Olofin-Adimula offered prayers and royal blessings for the success of Impact Foodie and Lounge, recommending it as a suitable and serene place for dining, leisure and social interaction.
He described the facility as one that aligns with modern lifestyle expectations while remaining accessible to the community.
Earlier in her address, Hon. Isijola explained that Impact Foodie and Lounge was conceived from a personal philosophy that healthy eating enhances quality living.
She said the brand was created to offer a space where wholesome meals, quality ambience and meaningful connections coexist.
According to her, the menu features a thoughtful blend of local delicacies such as native rice, pupuru and black soup, alongside continental dishes and special weekend offerings, all prepared with attention to nutrition, taste and hygiene.
She added that the brand also provides catering and delivery services to homes, offices, events and special occasions across Akure.
The unveiling ceremony was enlivened by a live stand band, which entertained guests with soothing and lively performances, setting a relaxed and celebratory mood throughout the event.
Guests were later conducted round the facility to inspect the modern kitchen, dining and lounge sections, before being treated to a tasting of the house pudding, which drew positive reviews from many in attendance.
