ONDO IYALOJA-GENERAL BOLADE EKO-DAVIES HONOURED WITH SOUTHWEST OUTSTANDING WOMEN MOBILISER AWARD
The Iyaloja-General of Ondo State, Hon(Chief) Mrs Bolade Eko-Davies has been honoured with the Southwest Outstanding Women Mobiliser Award.
The honour was bestowed on the Akure Business Woman by the authorities of Southwest Heralds Magazine at the Annual Lecture and Awards of the media organisation in Akure the Ondo State capital.
Presenting the award, the Publisher of the Magazine, Otunba Tayo Adu said the honour is well deserved, considering the pivotal roles being played by the renowned trader and political mobiliser in the state.
Otunba Adu described the Iyaloja-General of Ondo State as a rallying point for both existing and upcoming traders, noting her zeal and commitment to collective responsibilities.
“We are proud to present an exceptional, steadfast, visionary, and dedicated goal-oriented leader, the Publisher added.
Also speaking at the event, a prominent son of Akure and a senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Olumuyiwa Adu popularly known as “Cubana” said the honour done Chief Mrs Bolade Eko-Davies is a reflection on her efficient service delivery among women in Ondo State and beyond.
In her response, the Iyaloja-General, Chief(Mrs) Bolade Eko-Davies described the honour as a great challenge for her to keep contributing her quota to the development of women and the state in general.
She urged women to also keep playing their part anytime the need arises.
The Iyaloja-General is a renowned trader, women mobiliser and an aide to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa based in Akure the Ondo State capital with recognition in various parts of the southwest.
