AIYEDATIWA’S FORMER AIDE, ALEX GBOLOGE URGES DECORUM AS APC PRIMARY ELECTIONS APPROACH
Former Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Community Mobilisation in the Southern Senatorial District, Hon. Alex Gbologe has called for decorum and maturity as primary elections of the party approach.
Gbologe who featured on a current affairs programme on OSRC Television in Akure emphasized that the decision of the party leadership headed by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa should be respected in the interest of the generality of the state.
The former Governor’s Aide said though many people eye a particular position, he stated that not all could be at a position at the same time and therefore urged all to respect party supremacy.
He used the opportunity to highlight the various interventionist programmes and policies of the Aiyedatiwa administration which he said has imparted positively on the lives of the people.
Gbologe who hails from Ikoya in Okitipupa local government area reflected on the ongoing Okitipupa-Igbokoda road dualisation as well as the completion of Igbotako township roads which he stated have rekindled the hope of the people of the area in the democratic existence.
In his words, “with the various Infrastructural drive being witnessed in the Southern Senatorial District and the entire state, our people can testify that the Aiyedatiwa administration means well for the state”.
“While developmental projects are being carried out in the southern part of the state, the central and the northern part are not left out”.
“I was at Akungba-Akoko and it is evident that the dualisation of the town to Ikare-Akoko and that of Akungba to Supare-Akoko would not only attract economic development to the area but also create a new orientation as regards societal development”, Gbologe said.
He therefore urged the people of the state to keep maintaining peace as development can only take place in a peaceful environment.
