2027: PERSONAL AMBITION ASIDE, ASIWAJU REFLECTION FIRST

Comrades, Leaders, and Stakeholders of our great party in Ondo State,
As we approach the 2027 presidential election, this is the time for deep reflection, not division. The task before us is clear, and it is bigger than any single individual. It is about the continuity, stability, and prosperity that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR – Asiwaju represents for Nigeria.
The Mission is Bigger Than Us, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu came into office to reset Nigeria’s economy, secure our nation, and reposition our country for global relevance. The reforms are tough but necessary. At this critical stage, internal distractions and personal ambition within the party will only weaken us and embolden the opposition. If we truly want the reforms to succeed, then we must speak with one voice.
Moreover, history has taught us that a house divided against itself cannot stand. When party members begin to sponsor attacks, counter-narratives, and factions against one another, the direct beneficiary is not the people of Ondo State, but our political opponents.
Personal ambition inside Asiwaju’s re-election project will not help the party. It will only scatter what we have built together. I advise those that have personal ambition to subdue it and let us win handsomely for asiwaju in Ondo State come 2027.
Loyalty to Asiwaju means loyalty to the party. If we truly love Asiwaju in Ondo State, then our actions must reflect it.
True love is not loud on social media but destructive behind the scenes. True love is building the party, defending its leaders, and mobilizing at the grassroots.
We cannot claim to love Asiwaju and at the same time be sponsoring attacks on party structures and leaders in Ondo State.
That is self-sabotage. We should act and practise the loyalty to the party. We Must Lead by Example, Ondo State has always been a progressive state. We delivered massively in 2023 and we are the highest in number by percentage.
For 2027, we must do even more and more because Asiwaju usually favour Ondo with numerous juicy appointments.
Peharps, we can only do more when we are united. Our governors who is the leader of the party by Our party constitution must be respected, the leaders, elders, and youths must rally round him and the agenda of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu:
Return Asiwaju to continue the Renewed Hope Agenda. Any other agenda at this time is a distraction and sabotage.
In conclusion, we call on all stakeholders in Ondo State as matter of urgency to :
1. Set personal ambition aside until after 2027 general election. The time for internal contest will come, but now is the time for consolidation.
2. Stop all forms of sponsored attacks on the party, its leaders, and members. The media space should be used to promote Asiwaju’s achievements, not to fight ourselves.
3. Rally round Asiwaju’s re-election with one heart, one voice, and one structure from ward to state level.
Asiwaju needs a united Ondo State. Nigeria needs a united APC. And our people need the continuity that only Asiwaju can guarantee.
Let us not allow ego, pride, and personal ambition to mortgage the future of our party in Ondo state.
