RENOWNED SPORTS JOURNALIST ED-MANUEL BASSEY QUITS AIT/RAYPOWER, JOINS ARISE TV
Renowned Sports Journalist, Editor and News Reporter with Daar Communications, the owners of Africa Independent Television and Ray Power 100.5FM, Ed-Manuel Bassey has quit the international media organisation.

Bassey has been engaged as a Sports Correspondent and Reporter with the Lagos Office of the fast-rising media organisation.
Ed-Manuel Bassey was a household name in his days at the then Ondo State-owned OSRC Radio and Television stations where he worked as a reporter, newscaster, editor and presenter.
After eight years at the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation OSRC, the versatile media professional proceeded to DAAR Communications PLC where he functioned as sports correspondent, reporter, editor and newscaster both on Africa Independent Television AIT and it’s sister-radio station Raypower 100.5 FM, putting in 15 years as .
It is on record that Ed-Manuel Bassey has covered numerous international tournaments both in Africa and beyond.
In a chat with the renowned Sports Journalist, Ed-Manuel Bassey said joining Arise Television would provide a broader platform for him to display his talent.
He noted that Arise Television is widely known as a media organisation where professionalism is made a priority and promised to key into their vision and mission.
He also revealed that the move is a challenge and platform to improve as a broadcast media professional, bringing it to bear on the need for responsible journalism for the good of the nation and it’s people.
